what's up? Today, the aurors are given free reign of the MACUSA Library and Archives, the world's largest repository of magical tomes and texts. A labyrinthine sprawling structure in the heart of Manhattan, the library is known for its vast stores of knowledge... and having a bad personality. As so many magical buildings full of magical objects do, it has a little bit of an attitude, and the aurors are advised to travel in pairs, keep in touch, and not let their guards down. But if they can brave the depths of the reference section, they might be able to find a little useful information...

how this works The library has information from the arcane to the very modern, and so aurors may research any lead they so desire while they're in here. However, the building itself as well as the majority of the books within it have old inherent magic, and they tend to be... difficult. Fill out this form to explore the stacks!

Topic to be Researched: History's mysteries! What is the history of the Makepeace Foundation and the Makepeace family? Who is Ava Canny? He'll specifically be looking through sales records, newspapers, and records from McGilliguddy University but he's got his eyes peeled for anything relevant.
Relevant Skill: Observation. Familiarity. Maddy's plan is to avoid dangerous books and trap doors, rather than fight.
Library Prowess: 9. Maddy is a little library loser. He loves History of Magic and all the dorkitude that comes along with it. He will fight a book if he needs to but, by now, he knows how to calm most books down before things get out of hand.
